PhantomProtect · In development

Mac protection built
around your privacy.

PhantomProtect is being developed to spot suspicious files and connections using analysis on your Mac. We’re building local AI into that approach, with privacy at the center of how your protection works.

A look inside development. The interface and capabilities may change before release.

Privacy begins with the design

Your Mac can do
the analysis.

Your files and everyday activity can reveal a lot about your life. We’re developing PhantomProtect around local threat checks so that the analysis happens on the device you use.

Our direction brings together local rules, downloaded threat intelligence and AI that runs on your Mac. That keeps privacy part of the protection itself as threats and the tools used to create them evolve.

Online services still have a role, including updates and account access. We’ll explain those connections alongside the local analysis, so you can understand what the app shares.

Understand what is happening

Protection should
make sense to you.

A warning is more useful when you understand what triggered it. PhantomProtect is being designed to put suspicious activity in context, with clear information about what was detected and what you can do next.

PhantomWatch will show your Mac’s connections and provide manual firewall controls, and PhantomGuardian is being developed to explain security events using AI on your device. Both are part of the planned PhantomProtect experience.

The road ahead

PhantomProtect comes first.

The wider PhantomSecure suite will grow from that foundation. Each product has its own development and release work.

A private place for sensitive files.

We’re developing encrypted vaults with a playable movie carrier designed for plausible deniability during ordinary inspection. The movie gives the file an everyday purpose while the private contents stay locked.

Deletion designed for modern storage.

Our direction starts with how SSDs and modern Mac filesystems actually work, including a protected workspace designed to make individual file keys revocable.

From the developer

See the thinking
behind the software.

I’m Charlie, the developer behind PhantomSecure. I’m building the kind of Mac security I want to use: protection I can understand, with thoughtful choices about privacy.

Our resources bring together product explanations, security articles and development notes. As PhantomProtect moves toward release, I’ll share the decisions and testing that shape it.
